Teaching, Research Assistant and Teaching supervisor

As a teaching and research assistant, my main responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Assisting professors in preparing and delivering lectures
• Grading assignments and exams
• Conducting research in my field of expertise
• Providing guidance and support to students in their academic pursuits

As teaching supervisor, I coordinate with lecturers and students; course and assessment planning; follow up on academic activities with respect to the academic calendar; participate in meetings of the faculty; and submit reports to line managers.

Accountant

As an accountant, my main responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Maintaining financial records and preparing financial statements in accordance with OHADA standards
• Monitoring of student tuition fee payments in accordance with the payment schedule and organisation of collection campaigns
• Managing accounts of third-party accounts (suppliers and customers) and staff payroll operation
• Treasury operations (reconciliation and period-end closing of bank and cash register)
• Year-end accounting work (Inventory, depreciation and provisions)
• Declaration and payment of tax and social security returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Preparing budgets and forecasts and monitoring their implementation by department
• Providing periodic financial reports, advice and guidance to management

Executive secretary

Main responsibilities (but are not limited to)

• Managing the university's administrative affairs, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records
• Reception, storage, orientation and filing of administrative files
• Management and organization of the General Administrator's diary, preparation of weekly departmental meetings and entry of reports
• Coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations of the university
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for university management
• Providing support to students, faculty, and staff in addressing their administrative needs
• Follow-up and execution of decisions and recommendations of executive committee to be carried out by the general administration department.
